In this latest creation by the Versace brand, Vanitas, the concept of female sensuality and voluptuousness is enclosed in just one word: velvet. The Tiarè flower, with its perfume rich in soft and sunny fruity tonalities, and vivid evocations of the generous passion of tropical nature, represents the heart of the intense floral bouquet, emblem of this fragrance, enriched by the sparkling notes of lime, elegant touches of cedar wood and soft and embracing shades of a veil of tonka bean.

Tiaré (Gardenia Tahitensis), one of the few indigenous species of Polynesia, grows in small bushes in limited quantities. The flower can be treated using traditional methods such as water vapour distillation: a high quality essence is obtained which faithfully represents the freshness of the petals, but the productive yield is very low.   Alternatively, by using the accurate technique of Head Space, it is possible to develop essences with strong emotional power which are able to evoke the fascination and richness of the tropical atmosphere. A festivity has been dedicated to the Tiarè flower which is celebrated on December 6th. Cultivated exclusively in Tahiti and a few surrounding islands, it is therefore very rare and precious, Tiaré is the symbol of grace and femininity, of beauty and seduction universal values enclosed in the golden bottle of  Vanitas.
