The Olfactory World Tour"


In the framework of its mission to disseminate the unusual, attractive culture of perfume, Accademia del Profumo has developed an olfactory world tour: a new way to discover the world through odours. The aim of the olfactory world tour is to explore all the better-known and less familiar facets of odours, of perfumes and of the sensations they generate in us, embarking on a voyage of discovery of the essences’ origins on far-off continents, with attending guests taking an active part.
They get the chance to plunge deep into the olfactory atmospheres of three very characteristic regions of the globe, where skilled tutors will teach them how to associate each of the three essences proposed to them with the stimuli they evoke, coaxing participants to allow their memories and emotions to emerge spontaneously.
The odours typical of the Mediterranean basin, of the Indian Ocean and of the Pacific and the influences exerted by the magical allure of fragrances will then be revealed in a short summary guided by a perfumes expert.
